Grocery Store Decor for Fall
There are so many fabulous things you can use for decor, right from your local grocery store! Grocery store decor is fresh looking, convenient and doesn’t cost much…here are my five favorite items for fall:
1. Fresh Flowers-
A bouquet of fresh flowers always look great, so treat yourself to a few next time you go to the store! I like mums or carnations for fall, and they come in so many pretty colors you can find some to complement your home’s decor easily.
2. Apples or Pears-
I know everyone thinks of pumpkins for fall, but in September- I love to decorate with a big bowl of fresh apples or pears…they look great and BONUS- my kids always grab them for a healthy snack!!
3. Eucalyptus
Another fabulous idea for early fall is eucalyptus- I have started seeing this in our local grocery store and if you don’t see them, ask for them! They are often sold as “filler” for other floral bunches, but I like a big bouquet of it in the pitcher on my kitchen island. And here is one of my favorite photos from last fall, with a gorgeous pitcher of seeded eucalyptus:
4. Artichokes
Another beautiful idea for fall is a big bowl of fresh artichokes…for some reason, I love how they look this time of year!
5. Pumpkins
My final (and most OBVIOUS choice) for fall grocery store decor is pumpkins! I am partial to white pumpkins because they are so versatile and work in any decor. Believe it or not, at the time of this writing, our local grocery stores are not carrying pumpkins yet…so these are my “faux” baby white pumpkins, but soon the market will be filled with them! The great thing about little white pumpkins is that you can tuck them just about anywhere for a little touch of fall!
wishing everyone a wonderful week…
