Early Spring in the Living Room
Thanks so much for stopping by the cottage today! We are so happy to be finished with all of our recent renovations, and are LOVING the results. I pulled out my favorite large aqua pillows for spring and I’m having fun decorating the house with a touch of spring time….
Today, I’m sharing photos from our Living Room- the fresh, clean, newly painted white walls are the perfect backdrop to all of my seasonal decor, and the pops of color look fabulous in here!
I like to think of this room as my very own “blank canvas” that I enjoy “painting” on each season…
My collection of aqua blue pillows are perfect for Early Spring…
The large aqua pillows are from Crate and Barrel, called “Linden-Ocean”, the linen striped and blue ikat are several years old from Pottery Barn…
Other than white, my favorite color is definitely BLUE- any shade of blue, I love them all! I love to use lots of blues in spring and summer throughout the cottage.
As usual, there are plenty of coastal accents here as well, including my large clamshell bowl filled with shells…
and of course, my DIY seashell shadowboxes and oyster shell mirror!
There’s just something so relaxing and peaceful about blues…and that’s exactly what this room is for- relaxing.
This is one of my favorite little spots in the cottage, the pair of chairs by the front windows…
this is my favorite place to read with a cup of tea or coffee.
