Early Spring in the Kitchen -

I can’t tell you all how much we are enjoying our new kitchen…if you are new to Starfish Cottage, we just underwent a little “facelift” renovation and the kitchen is finally finished!

Everything feels so clean and fresh and new! It’s also the perfect white backdrop for my constantly changing seasonal accents,

like my spring time “aqua and green” touches this month!

I still can’t believe that I found these gorgeous blue hydrangeas recently at the market…they are the PERFECT color for all my pretty spring blue in the cottage!

I keep playing around with what I want to do ABOVE my white cabinets…

I’ve thought about a vintage-style wooden sign like this “Tampa Bay” one… or maybe just go back to some simple greenery and lanterns like I had before…I guess I will just keep trying new things until I find something I really like!

Our kitchen table even got a little update…the legs were a more yellowy-creamy white and I painted it more of a distressed pure white…much better now!
