Coffee Bar and Cute DIY Chalkboards
Recently, I was asked to help plan and decorate a "Coffee Bar" themed event at our church. I had so much fun doing it, I decided to set up a little coffee bar in our Living Room with some of the items I created for the event, here are some photos…
I set up the coffee bar on my "new" vintage French buffet.
For a cute focal point, I created these easy "chalkboards" on dollar store black foam board. (I got the idea from Pinterest!!)
One sign reads "Hot Coffee" and the other "Sweet Treats" they were so easy (and inexpensive) to make, I will share the DIY with you next week, so stay tuned!
I also made some cute tags like this one for the carafe.
Here's another one for the dome on the croissants.
It's always nice to serve icewater with coffee…
another photo of the bar.
I like to use large trays to keep mugs and coffee and creamer organized, and it helps with any spills!
A coffee bar is a simple and easy way to entertain for the holidays or any occasion.
For the event at our church, I made coffee bean filled hurricane candles on trays for the table centerpieces. I used vanilla candles and when they were lit it smelled so wonderful!
For another cute entertaining idea, I ordered these white coffeehouse-style paper cups with lids and wrappers ( from Amazon) and decorated them with a patterned ribbon and tag.
I can't wait to use all of these ideas for another event.
Tune in next week…I will show you all how I made the Coffeehouse Chalkboards!
