Christmas in the Entry and a Cute Holiday DIY

As I do with all our seasonal decor, I kept it rather simple here in the Entry- just a pretty wreath with a few starfish and a big red velvet bow…

and a simple bowl filled with fresh red poinsettias.

That’s it!  Simple, elegant, and EASY!

Further down the hall, I have a cute and easy DIY for displaying all your beautiful Christmas cards…

I don’t know about you, but one of our favorite holiday traditions is sending and receiving a beautiful family Christmas card, they are so pretty, I love to display them!  Here’s a simple way to do that:

Pick a prominent door somewhere in your home and hang a few wide ribbons…

Then add your favorite cards attached with simple clothes pins- I may actually spray paint the clothes pins white or silver, just to make them a little more “special”…see how easy it is to add a little holiday cheer and personality to an otherwise plain doorway!
