August in the Kitchen: Coastal Greys
Starfish Cottage is “going grey” all month in an effort to keep things cool. I’ve already shared with you touches of grey in the living room, dining room and family room- AND a gorgeous coastal grey alfresco table, today I am back with a few updates in the kitchen and a pretty kitchen tablescape.
I added a tall vase of pussy willow stems to the kitchen island, but the kitchen table is where I really had some fun decorating…Instead of flowers, I used these capiz shell stems in a clear vase for a centerpiece on a wooden tray with rope handles and a large piece of white coral.
I used my natural woven table runner with light grey napkins, woven placemats, decorative plates and goblets (both acrylic outdoor) and…
my new Oyster Shell Napkin Rings from my Starfish Cottage Etsy shop.
This table is light, bright and airy with a touch of grey…perfect for an elegant late summer meal!
Thanks for joining me today, I hope you all are enjoying the subtle touches of grey all around the cottage! You can probably see in this next photo a sneak peek of the Master Bedroom- I can’t wait to show you all more updates and touches of grey in the Master Bedroom next week!
Also, don’t forget about this month’s reader giveaway…
a set of four Oyster Shell Napkin Rings!
All you have to do to win is become an email subscriber or follower on Instagram and then leave a comment on any post this month ending in #napkinrings. I will announce the winner on the blog on Monday, August 29th! Good luck!
