Five Minute Fall Decor Ideas
Decorating for fall doesn’t have to cost a lot of money or time…here are five simple ideas for fast and fabulous fall decor:
1. Add a Small Pumpkin or Two
You can tuck a small pumpkin almost anywhere- in a decorative bowl, on a bookshelf, on a tray on the coffee table- nothing says “fall” like pumpkins- I prefer small white pumpkins for a subtle, sophisticated look!
2. Add Some Fall Foilage
Of course you could always add some traditional fall leaves to your decor, but there are so many other plants that say “fall”- eucalyptus stems, magnolia branches, willow stems, a big basket of mums- have fun and think outside the box!
3. Add a Chunky Throw Blanket
When I think about fall, I think about getting cozy and watching a football game or movie at home with my family- consider adding a luxurious chunky woven blanket, besides feeling great- they LOOK great! I love this chunky woven blanket from Carons Beach House HERE.
4. Add a Few Fall Accent Pillows
This year, I added a few deep, rich navy blue pillows to the cottage for fall- the plush velvet fabric adds a rich look and feel to my rooms. Fall pillows don’t have to say “FALL” or be covered in a pumpkin or leaf pattern to feel like fall!
5. Add a Candle or Two
The days are getting shorter and I love to have a few candles lit at night…they add a warm glow and ambiance to any room, and if you have a scented candle it will also fill your home with a lovely fragrance.
Wishing everyone a wonderful week…try adding one of these quick and easy ideas to your home this year!
